A wonderful home in a beautiful setting

Upon entering Stone Cottage via the entrance hall, to the left there is a welcoming lounge with dual aspect views of the garden, to the right you have the generously proportioned dining room. The breakfast kitchen which has been locally sourced and hand painted features coreenan worktops and views to the garden.
The ground floor also comprise of a cloakroom and utility room with ample storage.
As you take the first flight of stairs you are greeted by a second lounge or bedroom depending on preference. This room offers fantastic views across the garden and truly offers the wow factor with full height windows.
The first floor offers 4 bedrooms with the addition of an ensuite to the master bedroom. All the bedrooms feature a vanity sink unit with a seperate family bathroom on the floor.
Externally the mature gardens have been well maintained and are mostly laid to lawn.
Sellers Story – We were attracted to Stone Cottage due to its location and the plot. The beautiful gardens have always been my favourite part of living here. The home has been in our family since 1947 and parts of the house date back to the 16th century. The home was formerly a doctors surgery in the village and we love the history behind it. My husband and I moved into Stone cottage in 1977 and over the years we have modified the home to suit us and our three children.
My favourite room in house is the lounge as it has beautiful views of the gardens from both sides, I also spend a lot of time in the kitchen which I had hand painted by a local artist.
The location has been great with Coventry 8 miles away and Nuneaton 6 miles away and convenient access to Solihull and the NEC. Its a lovely village with great schools and a great community feel. The local pub (The Cottage Inn) is also fantastic and walking distance from the house.
I will miss everything in particular the gardens which I have dedicated years of time effort and love to. Both of my daughters had their weddings on the grounds so I will miss all the memories I have living here.
