A wonderful home in a beautiful setting
Description
Upon entering the home there is a feel of light and space with dual aspect windows allowing the light to flood in. To the ground floor on the left you have a spacious kitchen with access to the utility room through a sun room which can be used as an office or playroom. There is a also a welcoming dining area with views of the wonderful garden. The lounge features a log burner and offers views to the front and rear of the home.
To the first floor there are three bedrooms and a fourth room which can be used as a dressing room or nursery. The bedrooms offer plenty of space with wardrobes fitted in two of the bedrooms. The bathroom includes a white suite with shower facilities.
Externally the home offers fantastic gardens to the rear which include an orchard and vegetable patch and mostly laid to lawn. To the front there is direct access to a garage currently being used for storage and parking for 4 cars.
We were attracted to the Coach House collectively with Stone Cottage due to its location and the plot. The beautiful gardens have always been my favourite part of living here. The home has been in our family since 1947 and originally a coach house which dates back to the 18th century. My husband and I moved into the main home in 1977 and renovated the coach house into a home. We have raised our three children on the grounds with the coach house being used as a home for various family members over the years including my children.
My favourite room in the coach house has always been the lounge which looks to both the front and rear of the property and the log burner gives it a cosy feel.
The location has been great with Coventry 8 miles away and Nuneaton 6 miles away and convenient access to Solihull and the NEC. Its a lovely village with great schools and a great community feel. The local pub (The Cottage Inn) is also fantastic and walking distance from the house.
I will miss everything in particular the gardens which I have dedicated years of time effort and love to. Both of my daughters had their weddings on the grounds so I will miss all the memories I have living here.
